You know what, I think I am the same... In my case, I always make the grandest of plans which never seem to come to fruition. It's only when I adopt a more simple approach that I manage to get something made! (and it usually works just fine)

thanks. i was just on your blog about soft weights. i'm going to make me some. oh, and no engineering at all. a sketch on a 3"x4" piece of paper. mostly figuring out problems as I went. and there were a lot of problems. i'm not sure how much pressure it can take, and i'm not sure how much i'm suppossed to use. I guess i love trial and error.

I think one only moves on by acknowledging what happens and feeling it as much as one can. I don't know if one actually moves on, rather I think we just accommodate to the new reality. My neighbour is still trying to recover. The young guys who hit her are no doubt still living with it. I think of them all. Another one of those things that one carries everyday. Life.
It is nice of you to comment.
Thanks

When i used to watch the news, i feel such an argument, a reestablishing of a point of view. How can i hold this truth in the face of the issues in the world? Words are such a small part of what is going on. The Truth can't be put into words. It's really something that's silent and can't be explained. So too, within ourselves, that which is very powerful and transformative affects the world in a way that our words can't. And no matter what are words are, even if we're saying "Peace, peace, Love, love," or " Feed the hungry, and feed the poor," if that war is raging inside of us, with every word of peace what's being transmitted is conflict, conflict, conflict. Even tho the words don't say conflict, it is unavoidable. Who we are is what we transmit. This is so important. I feel that people are so terrified of unity who is going to decide or dictate how that unity acts. And the ego knows that in unity, ego is gone. It plays zero part. None. Zip. And the ego says, "Is everything going to be okay?" Am i going to sit in the closet that is the will of God?" Who knows? If unity wants you to sit in the closet, that is what i will do. If it doesn't want to be involved, that is exactly what will happen. And if it does want you to be involved, that is exactly what will take place. Human beings are coming from separation, not unity, in 99% of the activities we do, whether thy think they are doing something good or bad. When you come from separation, that's all you're transmitting. When you come from unity, you might still be called and be drawn to do the same things you were called to do when you were stuck in separation. The activity may look very similar. You still may be writing senators or flying across the world, but it's so different when it's done from unity. That means there's no conflict motivating you anymore. Therefore you can't come up with a reason because everything is okay. You're moving from the world that everything is okay. Mysteriously, this movement doesn't happen for a reason. It's just the way life happens to move through us.
The mind always wants to say, "Which one of these is right:" And you usually choose based on your preconceived idea of which choice is right or good for the world. This is a deception. The mind doesn't know. Just as life can be an oak tree, a pond, a rock, lake, car, it can be a very active or very passive life, all of it coming from the same source. Do you feel it?
